The Joint Committee on Administrative Rules has pushed approval of the new Paid Leave for All Workers Act rules until the group’s March hearing. The Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce reviewed comments from Republican and Democrat members with concerns over the possible changes. The law allows workers to earn up to 40 hours of leave from work each year. The Illinois Department of Labor plans webinars about the policy, Thursday February 22nd, March 4th and 21st.
