In a commendable display of community support, the Kewanee Kiwanis Club recently presented a generous donation to the Kewanee High School Key Club. The gift, amounting to $1,905, was given during the club’s weekly meeting. This financial boost is a result of a successful partnership in fundraising between the two clubs. The funds will enable students to attend the I-I District Convention in Springfield, where, notably, Aaliyah Duarte is set to be installed as the Division 17 Lieutenant Governor. This follows last year’s convention, which saw a strong participation from thirty-six students.
