Sterling Police
Sunday, February 19th, Austin McConnell, age 29, Homeless , was arrested on retail theft in the 2900 block of East Licolnway, and transported to The Whiteside County Jail.
Dixon Police
Michael A. Abell, age 30, of Dixon, Illinois, was arrested in the 1000 block of North Brinton Avenue on February 19th, at 12:42 a.m. for Driving Under the Influence – Alcohol, Driving Under the Influence – BAC Above .08, Illegal Transportation of Alcohol and Improper Lane Usage. Abell was processed and released with a mandatory court appearance.
Morrison Police
On Wednesday, February 15th, at approximately 1 pm, Morrison Police responded to Morrison High School, 643 Genesee Ave, Morrison, regarding a juvenile unlawfully consuming alcohol. A female juvenile, age 16 of Morrison, was issued an ordinance citation for unlawful possession of alcohol and released to a parent.
The charges are merely an allegation and all parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
