The Annawan Braves battled Alleman on Tuesday night and came away victorious in a hard fought defensive game. The Braves, led by Gabe Sims team leading 13 points, defeated Alleman 39 to 36. After the game, Coach Alex Coppejans, at Coach Coppe on X, praised his team’s guts in their first home win of the season: “Braves gut out their first home victory of the season with a 39-36 win over Alleman. Our effort and heart were there again tonight, just need to execute and value the basketball more down the stretch. We will keep improving.” The win is the fourth straight for the Braves following a season opening loss to Stark County. Annawan is back in action on Saturday against Brimfield.
