Gary L. Troxell, age 75, of Dixon, Illinois, was arrested on Monday, October 24th, in the 1300 block of Bonnie Avenue for Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse (2 counts), being a Class 2 Felony, Domestic Battery (Subsequent Offense), being a Class 4 Felony, and Domestic Battery, being a Class A Misdemeanor.
The Dixon Police Department was notified of the incident on October 24th, and began the criminal investigation. Through the course of the investigation, the Dixon Police Department identified Troxell as the suspect. Later that day, Investigators took Troxell into custody without incident. Troxell was processed and taken to the Lee County Law Enforcement Building where he was held in lieu of bond.
The Dixon Police Department was assisted in this investigation by the Lee County State’s Attorney’s Office and the Shining Star Children’s Advocacy Center.

The charges are merely an allegation and all parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
