People eating in The Purple Onion this afternoon were treated to a surprise when a vehicle struck the attached building to the Wast. A vehicle reportedly backed into the front corner of the vacant structure between The Purple Onion and the small parking lot. Patrons at the scene tell RegionalMediaNews there were no injuries in the accident. Carol Dillbeck said on her Facebook page that they were eating in Purple Onion when they heard a boom. They walked outside and found a vehicle had struck the attached building.
