Sterling Police
October 31st, 9:36am, Todd M Hopkins, age 50 of Sterling was arrested after report of a suspicious person at 408 Ave l. Hopkins had a Whiteside County Warrant for Failure to Appear on DUI charges. Bond was posted and Hopkins was given a notice to appear.
Monday, October 31st, Nicholas N. Schultheis, 38 of Sterling was arrested following a domestic disturbance report in the 1300 block of 3rd Ave. Schultheis was wanted on a Lee County Warrant for Failure to appear on assault charges, and transported to the Lee County Jail.

Brenda S Higley, age 33, of Dixon, Illinois, was arrested in the 400 block of E Second Street on October 31st, at 11:24 PM., for an Illinois Department of Corrections Parole Violation Warrant. Higley was transported to the Lee County Jail.
Jean P. Hermes, age 36, of Dixon, Illinois, was arrested in the 300 block of Bradshaw Street on October 29th, at 11:43 p.m. for Driving Under the Influence – Alcohol, Disobeyed Traffic Control Signal, and Improper Lane Usage. Hermes was processed and released with a pending court appearance.
Donald R. Mixen II, age 26, of Dixon, Illinois, was arrested in the 600 block of College Avenue on October 29th, at 10:55 p.m. for a Lee County warrant for Failure to Appear – Contempt. Mixen was processed and released after posting bond.
Allen D. Ford, age 58, of Dixon, Illinois, was arrested in the 600 block of West 5th Street on October 29th , 2022 at 3:35 P.M., for a Lee County Warrant for Failure toAppear- Contempt Non-Pay. Ford was unable to post bond and was transported to the Lee County Jail.
Jeremy C. Lucas, age 43, of Dixon, Illinois, was arrested in the 900 block of North Dixon Avenue on October 28th, at 6:10 p.m. for Domestic Battery. Lucas was processed and taken to the Lee County Jail.
Josiah N. Salguero, age 27, of Dixon, Illinois, was arrested in the 300 block of Madison Avenue on October 28th, at 8:57 p.m. for Domestic Battery (Subsequent Offense) and Domestic Battery. Salguero was processed and taken to the Lee County Jail.
